Half the fun of taking a vacation to an overseas locale is the opportunity to try authentic food from the country you are visiting. Whether it’s bratwursts in Germany, pasta in Italy or truffles in France, you don’t have to be a foodie to enjoy what the locals have to offer.
Hotels.com released the results of a global survey that discovered some core facts about American food preferences internationally and domestically. Over 1,000 Americans participated in the global survey and 63 percent of the respondents specified food as an important factor when selecting a hotel for various types of travel.
